Hello, everyone,
Following is the Lake Superior Woodturners’ program schedule for December.
Following Romaine’s demo we will have show and tell. Bring your Christmas gifts (and any other projects) to share with your fellow members before they are wrapped.

Important Message
Over the past couple of years, several tools and pieces of equipment have gone missing from our shop. At last count, we’re missing 2 face plates, 1 chuck, 1 Wolverine jig, 1 safe drive and 1 live center. These tools were purchased with membership dues in order that members and guests could learn to turn using club equipment. In the busyness of a workshop or sharing session, it can be easy to borrow a tool and forget to return it, so we’d appreciate your checking your shop and tools for any club equipment you may have inadvertently taken and return it to your club.
We want to continue having a relaxed and open atmosphere at the club and make everyone feel welcome to try their hand at woodturning. So we will ask everyone to help by checking equipment out and back in at each lathe and to return any tools borrowed from the club or your fellow members before you leave the shop. Thank you.
It has also come to our attention that part of a Jay Conradi turning exhibited at The Depot show last December went missing. The bottom of his covered bowl did not get returned to him (the cover featured a handle made of antler) We don’t know if it was taken from the gallery after the exhibit or from our shop. If anyone knows the whereabouts of this piece, please talk with Jon Stephenson–we’d like to return it to Jay.
See you at the next meeting and feel free to bring a guest,
Bonnie McDermid, Secretary
