Turning a piggy bank builds multiple skills
Now that some of his
grandchildren are old enough to understand the value of a dollar, Jon decided
to make a few piggy banks for Christmas gifts. Starting with a basic piggy bank
plan from the internet, Jon fashioned a cute and functional piggy bank with
several upgrades; walnut bodies, maple ears, ebony eyes and a curly tail.
Making this bank will call on your skills in making lidded boxes,
hollowing, fitting and shaping–join us at the February meeting for this
interesting demo.

from July 24-26, 2020 at the Crowne Plaza-Northbrook Hotel in the northern
suburbs of Chicago.
