January Program Meeting Topic – Tool handles, and Jigs
Robb Glibbery will demonstrate how to make a tool handle and Romaine Meller will show some of the jigs and work-around tools he’s invented over the years to solve his wood turning and sanding challenges.

January Sharing Session
Our Sharing Session is a great opportunity to receive some coaching and to just enjoy shop time with other members.

Wood Supply for Sharing Sessions
We seem to have difficulty keeping wood in the shop for use in the sharing sessions and other events. This is not a new problem, but it is a persistent one. We don’t need large blanks, but we do need reasonably solid stock: 2x2s, 4x4s, small bowl blanks, 8 to 10 inch full rounds of birch, maple, oak or ash (not popple, pine or other soft woods. If each of us brings in a box of blanks of various sizes once or twice a year, we should be able to keep the shop well stocked. If we could start these contributions at the January 2019 meeting we would have wood available for the January sharing session.
