In this demonstration, Tom will show how to design a segmented bowl on paper; no software needed. We will go over the math–no worries, we’ll use easy formulas. Then we will go from design to build. Tom will highlight some key points of the build process to end up with a successful project. Also, Tom will be donating the bowl that will be part of the demonstration as part of the monthly raffle.

Knotty Carvers Show
Last Saturday, Robb Glibbery and Gary Johnson manned our club table at the Knotty Carver’s annual show where four members showed their work and Gary Johnson did turning demonstrations throughout the day. A good number of people stopped by our table, expressing interest in woodturning. Jon Stephenson contributed a walnut bowl to the raffle to cover the cost of our table. Thanks to Robb, Gary and Jon for representing our club. At the next opportunity, we encourage YOU to exhibit your work.
