Turning Goblets and End-Grain Vases
LSW Invited to Show at Knotty Carvers’ Annual Event
We have an opportunity in October to connect with and learn from our wood carving counterparts. The Knotty Carvers Club of Proctor invited us to have a table or two at their annual show this year. The event is scheduled for October 26, from 10 a.m. – 3:00 at the Proctor Area Community Center. We are asked to donate one turned item for each table, which will be raffled off at the event. Jon Stephenson has volunteered to coordinate this event for our club, so if you want to display your turnings at this show and/or if you’re interested in doing a live woodturning demonstration, please phone him at 218-348-5098 by October 12th.
November Meeting Plans

to start thinking about Christmas gifts and ornaments soon! So, if you have
experience turning small gifts and Christmas tree ornaments, give John Skarja a
call at 218-464-8129 and volunteer to be part of the November demo.
